Airbag or SRS - This warning light represents a problem with the air bag system or the safety restraint system. On some vehicles this may be a seat belt problem or a problem in the air bag system. Some vehicles may have separate warning systems. Each time your ignition is turned on the the on-board system will run a check on these systems and make sure there are no problems. If a problem is detected, the computer assumes that the system cannot work properly and disables that system, turning on the appropriate warning light. You need to be aware that the safety feature is inoperable at all times when that warning light is on. These are complicated systems and can be hazardous to work on so we do recommend that you seek professional certified technicians to service your airbag or SRS system.
