ABS Tips

Hot or Overheat – This warning light means that a severe overheating condition exits and you should stop your engine at the soonest safe place. This warning light typically accompanies a severe coolant loss and should looked at ASAP. Do not open your radiator or coolant reservoir until engine sits and cools off.

Coolant Low - Usually means that the coolant in your radiator or coolant overflow reservoir is low. Check you temperature gage and or “Hot” warning light to make sure no overheating has occurred. If there is no sign of overheating you may just be slightly low on coolant. Stop at your earliest convenience and check your coolant level. Remember to not open radiator or coolant reservoir until engine cools off.
